			<description><![CDATA[ Now that summers here take those left over bit of soap and tie into a piece of netting. Tie a piece of string to the netting and hook it to the water faucet or hydrant outside. Make the string long enough that you can get the soap to the water when you wash. Makes a slick way of cleaning up kids hands and feet before coming into the house. Our kids are raised but DH and I still use it after working in the gardens or anything else. 			<description><![CDATA[ With summer on the way it's time to think of traveling and cold drinks and food.<br><br>I have 2 or 3 plastic bottles in the freezer filled 1/3 to 1/2 full of water. The plastic bottles are easy to get, use empty 24 oz. Pepsi bottles or whatever brand you buy. Just before leaving the house I take one out, finish filling it with water, put the lid on and off I go. 			<description><![CDATA[ In a ziplock bag mix one part rubbing alcohol and two parts water, close and freeze. It's really nice since the alcohol will keep it from freezing solid and it's felxible enough to mold to any part of your body. I find it more comfortable to wrap it in a towel or it just gets too cold. Shes been to our house for meals when she spent the night with our DD and was practically a part of the family.<br><br>Knowing what she loved eating at our table I copied down some recipes and put them in a recipe box for her. 			<description><![CDATA[ Does anyone else stretch their coffee to make it last longer?<br>I have a few ways.........after I make a pot in the coffee maker, I leave everything in there, then the next day instead of 4 scoops of coffee, I only add 3 scoops, thus saving 1 filter and 1 scoop of coffee.........not gonna make you rich, but hey! its the little stuff that adds up. <br>The other thing I do is sometimes storebrand coffee is on sale for such dirt cheap prices I can't resist. 			<description><![CDATA[ I try to remember to take frozen juice out of the freezer a day or two before needing it and let it thaw in it's can in the refrigerator. However, if I forget I don't worry too much about it. I put the juice and water in a pitcher and use a potato masher. Peanut butter and crackers, small bags of chips, some instatnt soups, or instant oatmeal, etc. It's much cheaper than the vending machines when you feel the need to snack. It's also a good idea to have around in case you get stuck there for some reason. A couple of bottles of bottled water is a good idea too.<br><br>I learned the hard way that it's a good idea to keep this stuff in a coffee can, ice cream bucket or something to keep critters... ]]></description>
